Starting from the beautiful old town of Las Palmas, the uphill GC 110 takes us past Gran Canaria’s traditional brewery Tropical towards Santa Brígida.
Downhill past the Jardin Canario
We then descend past the Jardin Canario towards the village of La Calzada, where we turn onto GC 320 to reach the Barranco de Guiniguada.

Once there, the GC 320 leads us over a small valley bridge with a fantastic view of the green mountain landscape of Gran Canaria up the barranco to the next picturesque mountain town of Santa Brígida.
GC 80 down to Las Goteras
GC 80 takes us downhill for the time being to Las Goteras, where the next short climb awaits us until our descent towards La Hinguera.
GC 810 in the direction of la Solana
At the junction with GC 810 in La Hinguera, the GC 810 continues past impressive geological rock formations to La Solana.

When we arrived in La Solana, we were almost halfway towards Valsequillo.
Further to Valsequillo
We now continue on the steadily ascending GC 810 to Valsequillo.
Arrival Valsequillo
When we arrive in Valsequillo, we can enjoy a coffee and cake to fortify ourselves for the onward journey via Las Vegas and Tenteniguada to San Mateo.

After leaving Las Vegas, a beautiful mountain landscape awaits us.

Arrived in Tenteniguada, it is not far to the peak of the tour.
Peak before San Mateo
Having reached the apex, the route now descends to San Mateo where we can fortify ourselves for the rest of the journey to Teror if necessary.
Strengthening in San Mateo
When we arrive in San Mateo, the village has a snack ready if needed and we can fill our bottles once again for the final spurt via GC 42 to Teror.
Up and down via the village of Utiaca
GC 42 first takes us 7 km up and down via the village of Utiaca to the final 8 km downhill apex to Teror and Las Palmas.
To Teror and back to Las Palmas
From the original village of Teror, we now descend again in a relaxed manner towards our starting point in Las Palmas via the perfectly constructed road of GC 21.
