Fuente Luminosa
Our tour starts at the gigantic fountain Fuente Luminosa in Las Palmas.

Alcaravaneras
The first stage takes us along Avenida Marítima to the Alcaravaneras sports beach.

Avenida José Mesa y López
Now we head out of town via Las Palmas’ shopping street Mesa y López to the Carretera de Chile.

Heading upwards, the Carretera de Chile gives us one last stunning overview of the beautiful capital of Gran Canaria.

Roundabout Tamaraceite to Teror with Perfect Asphalt on GC 21
We continue towards Tamaraceite where the perfectly asphalted GC21 to Teror is already waiting for us.

Steady ascent to Teror
Once there, the road carries us steadily but moderately uphill to Teror, one of the most unspoilt places on the island.

Once here, we enjoy a coffee and some local pastries at the church square to soak up the atmosphere and the view of the mountains and to fortify ourselves for the upcoming climb via GC42 to San Mateo.

Passing San Isidro
After leaving Teror, we continue to climb moderately but steadily towards the centre of the island and the village of San Isidro, the place just before the peak of the tour where a beautiful green mountain landscape awaits us.

GC 400 Intersection
Arriving at approx. 1040m we let ourselves roll down to 850m to Utiaca and San Mateo.

Utiaca
Continuing on, GC42 carries us to Utiaca, the village just before San Mateo.

San Mateo
When we arrive in San Mateo, we can review the tour together over a coffee before the GC15 lets us roll back comfortably.

GC 15 downhill to Las Palmas
From San Mateo we now continue downhill on GC 15 for 22km via Santa Brígida back to our starting point in Las Palmas.
